OUR PRICES

It is easy to become a library member:
– we need a valid form of identification,

which includes your name and current

residential address
– you will get a library card (bar code)
Our membership fees are the following:

Adult: 2000 Ft/year

Pensioner, educator,

full-time student 1000 Ft/year

under 16 and over 70 free

Register card (just locally use) free

Internet usage fee:

The first 30 minute is free, then every 30

minutes costs 200 Ft.

Printing price:

black and white A4 50 Ft/page

Scanning price:

0-10 page 20 Ft/page

10-50 page 60 Ft/page

How to borrow documents?

• show your library card (bar code)

• you are allowed to choose max. 16 document

• you are allowed to borrow the documents for 30 days. This period can be extended twice, if the book is not reserved

• for CDs and DVDs you have to pay deposit

• to borrow magazines and some special books is limited (you can take them home only when we are closed.)

• In case of using interlibrary services there is extra fee (postal charge)

• book reserving is free

WARDROBE is obligatory and free

Media

In our library you can find everything about music and media. You are allowed to try audiobooks and audiotapes and you also have opportunity to watch DVDs, records.

Literature

We have two rooms, books are sorted by authors in alphabetical order.

The library special literature collection include:

General books, philosophy, psychology, religion, social science, mathematics, natural science, applied science, arts, sport, linguistics, archaeology, geography, biology, biography, history

About our town, and everything that surrounds Sopron. (just locally use)

Reading room

Unique and valuable books are available to read, and also you can read our magazines, with lots of different topics (160 types of periodicals). Here is available the Internet room as well.

Department for Children’s and Juveniles’ (or Young Adults’)
This department is a mini library. Her you can find everything what was written for children and juveniles.
